As I was searching for something to blog about....I read HUNDREDS of articles about tech news. Sometimes it overwhelms even me, so I decided to go a different way with the blog this week! I talk a lot about all of the "new and exciting" things going on in the world of technology....but can TOO much technology be bad for you? Do you ever get sick of the "next new thing?" Do you long for a time where life was more simple without all of the advancements we have in technology? Do you remember when you did NOT have access to a cell phone? Were these better, or worse times?
Write about what you think about my statement...and as usual..have a GREAT weekend.

Well, In my opinion i think Technology are good for us in the new world life in today. Because it make easy for us such as cellphone, you can talk to person by this thing easily by type in the number. it make you more comfortable. it was the simple example.
Today in our life, There are new Technology coming out everyday.
sometime you'll not know what this thing use for.
it make us more confused and sometime we'll get made when we don't know how to use it.
Anyways, New Technology are good for us but we need time to learn more about it.
I am personally, sick of technology. It is ok when you use it once in a while, but we over use it used. Last year without computers I did better in my classes than I am now. I can actually remember when i didn't have a cell phone. But that was also when i needed one to call for a ride. Now when i have my own car i don't even use my cell phone. I don't ever get more than 2 texts a day. Sometimes I just wish I was back in the 90s when it was simple.
I don't know what I would do without technology. I use my computer, and cell phone ALL the time. With technology now you can pretty much solve anything.
Well I actually ask myself that question almost every day. I think it is good and bad! I thought about what would happen if something happened in the world and we couldn't do anything because we didnt know how to do it on our own. I think having cell phones are useful because we have a way of safety to call 911 or ect. I believe that we should be ready for the future and we should know the new stuff and the old, because you never know whats going on in the world. When you really think about it how safe is it to have all of our personal files on digital equipment where people can hack in and get whatever it is they want. Think about it.I did.
Personally, all of the technology is getting to be to much. Nothing is as simple as it used to be before we had all of these things to deal with. Dealing with the "next new thing" everyday gets kind of annoying because people are always comparing what they have with what other people have. I think that some of the technology is good but when you have to deal with it everyday and you are constantly having to update and reload everything gets really annoying and can drive a person nuts. Sometimes I wonder if all the technology is actually worth all the hassle that gets put into it.
I think technology is good, but there is a limit. You see people waiting and saving for the latest technology and by the time they get the money saved they come out with the latest version that is more expensive. Everything always has to be the latest thing, and so people are never satisfied with the simple things. One technology that I find is a good one, is cell phones. I say this because it makes it so much easier to keep track of people. As long as you at least have the basics shouldn't you be satisfied. I mean yes it is nice to have the latest of everything but is it absolutely necessary, and what are you going to do with the old versions? Most likely just through them out. It's pointless. When I save for things I usually save more because by the time I have the money there is the newest version.
I think that technology can be too much sometimes, like it you go to buy a new computer you have so many choices and alot of them could be just as good as the other ones. Just recently i was online searching for a 1 GB RAM card and i found so many that all would work for my home computer then only thing was they all had different brand names and therefore had different prices. Sometimes i do wonder whether it would be nicer to just live in the past when there wasn't so much technology.
I believe that technology enhances life. I am a guy that likes excitement in my life. If there wasn't as much technology life would be somewhat boring because there wouldn't be something new and exciting to explore in the world. Also, without modern technology enhancing and improving we would be at a loss in the world of medicine and enhancing life.
I think that it is better now that we have access to all this technology because it is easier to get a hold of someone in an emergency situation.
I think technology is amazing. I wouldn't want to live without technology. Sometimes I do long for grade school where a cell phone and a car and a laptop weren't important to me. Today we live in a digital world, computers are essential to a comfortable life.
I am tired of all the new technology. It's hard to "keep up" so I decided that it's ok not to have the newest technology. In a way I think that technology is bad for you, because I think that we depend way to much on it. I sometimes wish that it could be more simple. I do remember when I didn't have a cell phone. In a way it was okay because it seemed more peaceful. Now I don't know what I would do without my cell phone. I depend on it a lot. I am thankful for new technology but I'm not going to try to keep up with it. I think they will just keep coming up with things because they have the resources.
I love using todays technology and don't know what I would do with out it. Sometimes I get really frustrated though when my computer freezes or loses a document then I wish that I would of stuck with pen and paper to do it.
I think that technology is great. It has made many helpful advances in medicine and other areas that help with human betterment. At the same time though it would be nice sometime to not have to try to keep up with the latest technology. But I guess that is how life is, you are constantly learning for your own benefit.
I think that to much technology can be a bad thing; however, it does come in handy at times, such as a GPS when you get lost, or when someone goes missing or is murdered the new technology is very helpful. I do remember what it was like without cell phones and it would be hard to go back to not having them, they seem to make life so much more convenient in todays world, but i still know a lot of people who don't have them. I do think that the every changing phones and i-pods is a little much, because there is that much difference besides the screen. I also don't think that people have the time to slow down and enjoy the new things they have for very long before they are already out dated.
Actually my charger wasn't work for most of the week, so my computer was dead and I lost my cell phone, so this is the perfect blog for me. Honestly, I've gotten more things done, and I'm not distracted by the all the lights and shiny things. It's been good, because I'm getting things done, I'm less stress, and my days are less complicated and rushed, its nice. You can defiantly get a technology over load, and I think it requires some balance, like most things.
I think that new technology is amazing only if we don't abuse it and use it for only good things that will
benefit the world . Some times we can git to into are new divices and for git about life and all the things that are going on around us . Over all technology is great and tuns of fun to use .
My opinion is that technology is a good thing for us to improve on at anytime, because it helps us find cures, preserve the earth and lot of other good things. The only thing is that people rely to much on technology. As long as they dont get carried away with it and act like they can't live with out it , I think technology is good for people.
Technology is a great thing, but it can almost get out of hand sometimes. For example, its hard to even keep up with the newest iPod's, TV's and cell phones. They just keep updating and adding more features. Overall though, I would be lost without technology, especially my phone and computer.
I do believe that there is a thing as too much technology. I believe that one day we will be without technology, or like everything will fail and we won't be prepared for what's next. We need to limit ourselves and get ahead of ourselves and prepare for the worst. We need to not get so caught up in the technology and start living our lives socially with everyone. Family, friends, and even a stranger. Also there is so much tech. that I can't tell what is what theres so many types and brands of just one thing. It gets confusing. It also is killing our planet with pollution and electrical magnetic fields and such. We just need to slow it down before we kill our planet and ourselves along with it.
I like technology but i think it gets to complex and just too much things at once. But we are living in a bigger complex would but still. It can get bad becasue people get addicted. Ever since i got my mac book i have been addicted to facebook which isn't a bad thing to me..but could be haha. I do remember when i didn't have a cell phone but it wasn't a big deal then but now there are like 2nd graders with cell phones which could be bad. They were good times and i think you should be a little older to have a cell phone becasue little kids could use it the wrong way all the tim.e
Technology is an interesting thing. I believe it can go both ways. It's a great new development that obviously gets "better and better" every year, every month, and every week. While some technological developments are good, I think there can be too much. I have felt overwhelmed with all the new technology out there. It's kind of sad to think that the days without cell phones and computers are HISTORY, and we will never experience a time like that again.
the technology i enjoy is gaming technology other than that i could live without i think my live might even of been better without some of the things i have like a cell phone.
Technology is good but like anything in this world, too much will kill you.
I like things simple not too simple but basic. my cell phone has calling and texting. no internet, no blu tooth, no e-mail, no downloading. I barely use the camera on it, which isn't that good, but i don't mind. could i live without it? yea, i did it for 16 years since i was born. would i like to get rid of it? no, because it keeps me in touch with my friends and family during my busy life when i can't actually see them face to face that much.
The constant advances in tech is very annoying but its good for everyone. i just don't stay current on all the advances and i don't really care what the "new tech fad" is. i'm happy with what i have.
Yes there can be a point when there is too much technology. If you look at students, few understand the maths because we can simply put them into a calculator and get the answer. Without that calculator you would be out of luck. I love my technology, it makes my life simpler, and gives me access to games to play when i am bored. It also though can take away from what needs to be done, often times i catch myself wasting all my time playing with technology and not doing what i need to be doing.
Before i had my cell phone i wasn't as in contact with my friends and family. I had to tell people before i went out, which often meant i had to wait for my mom to get home before i went out. Now with my cell phone i can go out, and if my mom needs me she can call or text me.
I also can see a day where technology will be our worlds downfall. We are getting too reliable on technology, and when it goes down, so will we.
I believe that technology is good, it has made so many advancements in medicine and others. I also believe it has come to a point that we depend too much on technology, our society and government runs on computers and that is not always dependable. I think that the new technology is useful in some cases like researching for homework, communication, etc. but we shouldn't depend on it for keeping important files on it.
I love technology it makes life so much easier, but it can make things too easy. maybe technology is why our society has become overweight. our generation is becoming very lazy and use technology in almost every part of their day. if technology is used wisely and sparingly then it is the best thing since sliced bread.
i think we have way to much but yet at the sme time it is good but yet it makes us to relient on it
