If the school didn't filter anything on the internet I think that the student would not be paying attention because they might be screwing around on the internet. Some students are different when they are on the internet. They might be doing educational stuff or they might be playing games. If we were allowed to have cell phone in school I think it is not right but i think we should be able to use it when it is an emergency or call for a ride a lunch time. I think cell phone could be usable but not during class time unless it is an emergency.

I got a 70% on the test. After going back and reviewing what gave the phishing e-mails and the legitimate e-mails their differences I realized that it is actually pretty easy to tell. I know if i receive a notice in my inbox telling me to input my personal info that I will be looking to make sure it is legit or not. This quiz has really help me to pick out the fakes.

I got a 9/10 on the quiz. I have two credit cards and buy things fair frequently online, but I have never been phished before. We just got through dealing with fraudulent charges on my brother's old credit card, and it was a pain. But anyway, I think most of it is just common sense. I never click on links in emails out of principal - if PayPal wants me to change my information, I'll just go to PayPal's site and log in rather than using their login link.

I know a lot of the time when I'm just googling trying to find something, some sites will be blocked for some obscure reason and you can't access the information you're looking for.

I think it would be interesting to go by a no tolerance policy. By that I mean don't filter anything (except maybe the extremes), and simply place those who violate this responsibility on the current filter. If they continue to abuse it, then the white list comes into play.

As far as cell phones, I think during lunch they should be usable. They're not disrupting class, they're not bother others. It just seems like a good compromise.

I got a 7 out of 10. I thought it was kind of hard to figure out what was fake on some of them. When there was improper grammar I had a pretty good idea it wasn't legitimate. There's a lot of things to look at when seeing if the email is fake or not which is good to learn.

I got 7 out of 10 what really surprised me, I thought I would recognize almost all of the phishing mails. Phishing is harder to detect than I thought and this showed me that I should read bank e mails twice.

I think the school filters is a good thing to keep students on task. I think the current cell phone rule is good. If we even relaxed the rule a little bit, we would have a mess. People already use their phones while we have a strict rule. The only thing I would have to say to change is to let teachers make their rules in their classroom. Some teachers don't mind if you have your phone out.

I got an 80% on the quiz. I thought it was really hard, the phishing ones look real. The ones that I knew were legitimate were the ones that didn't ask for any credit card information. Otherwise, the e-mails that wanted all this information is obviously a fraud.

I got 10 out of 10. There are people who always just send me junk e-mail. The people would just want me to put my credit card up or try to trick me to put my give my credit card to them. I usually can tell which is real and which is not. I am used to reading the e-mail to see if it is real or not.
