This blog will celebrate the fact that the School Board graciously approved our 24/7 Learning Plan!! What this means to you is that next semester you (Juniors and Seniors) will be getting a laptop to enhance your learning 24/7. Next year ALL students 7-12 will be receiving them.
For this blog I want you to talk about what this means to you and what about getting the laptop is most exciting to you.

This means that i will be able to do more activities in the least amount of time hopefully. I would be more excited about getting the laptops if i wasnt a senior though!

I think this is great for note taking and internet access in the classroom. I am really excited to have all the computer applications with me at all times during the day. I think that it will help with schoolwork alot.
I think this would mean more for me if i had it for longer than a semester but it will be alot easier to take notes in class. It will also to be nice not having to go to the library everytime you need to use the internet. There will be many benefits for having the laptops, I'm pretty excited!
Getting my own laptop will be very beneficial for my future learning. Now I will be able to type out my notes during class. If I have to write a report for some class I wont have go to the libary or worry if my computer at home is gonna work. So getting my own laptop would be awsome.
I am really excited about getting the laptops. I think it will be very helpful to the students. but hopefully the kids can take care of them. but they are gonna be hard to get used to and gonna be difficult to use for awhile but hopefully we can get used to them soon.
Getting the laptops will make alot of things easier; like taking notes, gathering information and writing reports. I am excited because it will be cool to have them with you at all times.
Well this means that..that we can have a greater learning experiance? Well one reason why it could be is because you can now get your assingments emailed to you now. What i think is most exiceting to me about getting labtops is that i can use photobooth. Thats all i can think of at this moment of time..so ta ta for now
I think that it would help our learning alot and that we wont need to check out a laptop out of the library so we can do our writing and stuff but i think that it is really cool that we get to have laptops this year.
I also think that it would be a great idea is because most of the kids dont have computers at home so this way they are able to do their homework so that they would not have to go to a friends class to use a computer and so that they can check their E-mail with out having to go to their friends.
This means we'll be able to do our homework more efficiently then before. I'm lookin forward to learning more about the mac notebooks then I did before.
I am pretty happy about getting the laptops finally. I mean, if I have to write a report for English or some other class, usually I have to wait until I get home from work (sometimes at 10:00 p.m.) to research/type the report. Now that I will have a laptop I can store it with me and work on the report at break or lunch when I am working. I believe that having the laptops will also be good for students that have less than perfect penmanship (like my buddy). Taking notes will be easier with the macs because I am personally a faster type than I am writer and when I do take notes I have to work on indenting things (to separate like or unlike subjects) with the laptops I can use symbols and things to combine like subjects. All together I am really excited to get these laptops.
IM EXSTATIC...LOL just kidding but ya the computers are going to be nice to have and easier to do homework on and easier to take notes with, so i think i will help us alot
I think that the laptops will be a great deal so we can get on the internet and blog or so any other homework. But this is pretty cool.
Im glad we are finally going to get them. i wish we could get them sooner but i guess its better to have them for at least a semester than not at all so im not complaining. They will definatly make taking notes and typing reports a lot easier.
i think it is a great idea but we really need to get those buisness down town to agree to let us use their internet for the kids that dont have internet or highspeed. i am exicited though, because i can now type at home!
this means i will have the applications i need at home if i have homework to do that i need a special program for and it will be exciting because i will get one this year and next year and i will learn alot more about computers through it.
I am really excited for the laptops, we will no longer have to use the computer labs that half the time never even work! Note taking will be reduced because I can type alot faster then I can write. Also I will get more done with school and get my papers done alot faster because I will always have access to a computer and the internet and now I dont have to share a computer with my whole family!
This meant to me a lot because i dont have a computer or a loptop at my house and is exciting because i can do my homework in there and projects and learn more about the imac computers.
I think it is exciting to get laptops because now we will have instant access to a computer which will help save time and keep assignments neater since we can type them instead of being handwritten. The most exciting part to me, is just becoming more familiar with the macs and the programs it has to offer!
i think that getting a laptop will help alot because it will help when i do a report and it will allow me to use the internet more easliy instead of having to go to the library
This is a really nic thing that we are getting them because now I can do my homework in the comfort of my own room and the quietness, since there will be no one coming in and asking for the computer. Now most of my homework should get done without an exuse. I will have acsess to the internet 24/7 so I will be able to do the blogs for all my classes any time I want.
To me, this means, that the "slackers", (Including me) should be able to get there homework done on time, just because you get to use neato technology. and it helps that you can connect to the internet when you need to do research, when you have to.
This means that I will have more capabilities to do homework and learn in different ways. I am excited cuz it will be useful to take notes and to not have to use labs to get to the internet.
It will be great for taking notes and doing homework. I'am excited and can't wait to get them.
I'm really excited about this!! My computer at home is ANCIENT, we got it when I was a 6th grader so it is extremely slow...and 90% of the time it doesn't work so getting these laptops will help me out a TON being able to work on assignments at home instead of having to use someone else's computer! I'm really really glad the school board approved it, I think it will benefit the students a lot!!
I am SUPER-DUPER happy about the laptops getting approved~!~ I have a computer at home but the laptops are way better. I think that the things that we will be able to do with them are endless...maybe not endless but ...you know "vast"
This will help SO much for any written assignments that I have to do. I wish I would have had them before I was a senior.
I'm so excited about it! It will be so nice to be able to take notes in class by typing them because it takes me forever to write and I'm so much faster at typing! Plus I have terrible penmanship and it's kind of embarrassing! :-) Lately we've started doing a lot more technology-based activities in our other classes and I enjoy doing that stuff SO much more than having to do worksheets and writing papers.
I think that getting the laptops is going to be great. It's going to be nice just for something different and maybe make school a little bit more interesting.

im happy that we got the laptops. if all the teachers get the drop box it will be helpful turning in assignments now to. it will help alot for note taking seeing how some people can type faster then what they can write. also we don't have to go to the library to look for information.
one thing though are we going to get the same laptop each year!?!?!?!
I think it means that i will be able to work on my laptop computer when ever i want. I would use it for everyday programs such as photoshop, msn, web-design and movies. I am excited to get the new macbooks.

This means that we will have less things to carry around from class to class and no more heavy books hopefully. I would be more excited about having the lab tops if I was going to be here next year.
I am super excited about getting our laptops..It will help me out with my homework and my yearbook pages a bunch!!
Personally i think providing these laptops to the juniors and seniors is going to be highly beneficial. this will give us more of a college feel, and more of responsibility will be placed upon us. I'm most excited about finally having an apple laptop at my fingertips whenever needed.
